Jen Chung
OUR response to Gothamist’s
“Fashion
Faux Pas” Article
First off, I would like to see what Ms.
Jen Chung considers “in style.” She may have some fashion sense, that still
remains to be seen, but it is apparent that she does not have fashion
imagination or know anything about the pantyhose business.
There is a very large market for toeless pantyhose. So large that many major
pantyhose manufacturers currently sell a type of toeless pantyhose for THONG SANDALS. Tohos
pantyhose looks to absorb the toeless pantyhose market as well as cut into
the regular pantyhose market. Tohos allows women to wear thong sandals with
pantyhose and because of the full toe coverage it allows women the option and
flexibility to wear any color of pantyhose, unlike with toeless pantyhose where
you must match the pantyhose to your skin color.
If
you don’t think pantyhose should be worn with thong sandals (like Jen Chung of
Gothamist) then Tohos also look great in regular shoes. Tohos pantyhose give
women the flexibility and option to wear any type of shoe on the market with any
color pantyhose. The way Jen Chung described Tohos pantyhose in
her article one would think that we sewed thong sandals to a pair of
pantyhose. We believe there are many women that like to wear pantyhose with
thong sandals. We based our assumption on the many debates on this topic, the
large amount of companies manufacturing toeless pantyhose and the large amount
of stores selling toeless pantyhose. Many of the people debating this issue are
women within the age of 18 to 34. Ms. Chung believes women between the age of 18
to 34 would not want to wear pantyhose with thong sandals. Gothamist acts as
though we are forcing women to wear thong sandals with our pantyhose rather than
giving them an option.
