                A Southern California woman has designed sheer to

wear with thong sandals.

                Karyn Cortani, has developed sheer pantyhose that 

are sewn so that the large toe is separate from the others. This

allows the thong of the sandal to slide between the toes. The

product is called TOHOS.

                "I made them originally for myself because I love the

                              TOHOS are made to wear with sandals

look of stockings on a woman's leg and at the same time, I love

high-heel thong sandals. So, I took a regular pair of pantyhose

to my seamstress and ask her it she could do it for me."

                Since then, Cortani has had samples made by

Bossong Hosiery Mills in Asheboro, NC and has secured

a patent on her design.

                Nordstroms has agreed to put the hosiery in some of

its west coast stores, according to Cortani.
